Engineering
The main aim of ITI is to provide vocational training to candidates and turn them into qualified engineers! The course thus aims at developing a skilled work-force in India. It is a 2 years long course. 10th passed students (with Science subject) are eligible to pursue this course. At the end of training, successful candidates are awarded Vocational Training certificates.
Non - Engineering
Non – Engineering technologies includes Computer operators and Programming assistant, Fashion design, and Surface Ornamentation techniques. The duration of the course is one year with two semesters of six months each. The trade is very innovative and career orienting in nature for students as they can find jobs after its successful passing.
CTS Syllabus
The Craft man Training Scheme (CTS) revised Trades Syllabus. This scheme includes various sectors such as, Fashion Design and Technology, Sewing Technology, Fitter, Electronics Mechanic, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Electrician, Surface Ornamentation Techniques (Embroidary) and Food Production (General).
